  After a courageous battle with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma following a stem cell transplant, peacefully as a result of pneumonia on Friday, March 6, 2009, at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie.   David, in his 65^th year, beloved husband of Carolyne Davies,  dear father of Joel and his partner Victoria Lawrie, Steven and his partner Alicia Meyer, and Nicholas.  Cherished Granddad of Anna Grace Wedgbury.  Dear brother of Tony and Cynthia Wedgbury, Geraldine Burt, Suzanne and Bobby Jung, Penny and Barry Smith.  Dear brother-in-law of Donna Law.  Uncle David was adored by many nieces and nephews.  The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S.
