It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Darlene Dorothy Howie (née Brown) on Monday, August 24, 2026. She is survived by her husband, William, and her daughter Suzanne, as well as her sister, Dale Caverly.
A life long resident of Caledon, Darlene was a long term fixture in Guiding in Bolton, being a leader and Commissioner through out the 1990s and into the 2000s. She volunteered with the United Church Sunday School and touched the lives of all who met her.
She will forever live on in the hearts and memories of those whose lives she help make just a little better with her warm smile, genuine heart, and laugh.
A memorial visitation will be held at Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street South (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Monday afternoon, August 31 from 1pm to 4pm.
