What a helpful, friendly, fun & funny person Dale was. She was a great friend and neighbor to my parents., Fred and Edna, and was particularly kind in looking out for my mom after Fred’s death in 2016. I very much enjoyed her company when I was lucky enough to share it. I know my mom will miss her greatly.

Was indeed saddened to hear of Dale’s recent passing. Always enjoyed our frequent meetings during our respective careers in the teaching world.

Dale left us too soon. I still remember the summers at the Elder’s cottage in the late 1950s when we shared the cottage with the Cattos. A time when us kids could spend the summer days being kids and helping out on the farms. Good memories. Spoke to Diane about coming back but because of Covid and restrictions, she suggested not to come. Our hearts go out to Bill and the rest of the family.

I will never forget Dale’s choreography of the seniors walker routine for a Ching curling bonspiel. We had so much fun. She was such a professional even with us amateurs! We will miss her greatly both on and off the ice.

To Bill and family,
I taught with Dale for many years and she was always upbeat, smiling, joking and full of energy. When I met her a little over a year ago, we were both in the hospital waiting for our catscans. My heart sank when she told me she was battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer. We chatted for nearly an hour before Bill picked her up. Despite all that she was still same wonderful girl that I remember – smiling and positive even though she was unsure of her future. This Covid World needs more people like Dale.

Dale left us too soon. A beautiful lady inside and out. So grateful for our friendship and many shared experiences over the years. Miss her so much! XO Condolences to Bill, David, Cheryl, Lauren and all the family.

News of Dales passing was sad news indeed. Dale was a lovely pleasant person and will be greatly missed.
Our friendship goes back 50 years through Bill’s employment connection. We had our last luncheon at NOTL
in October 2019 and at Dales insistence were waiting for an appropriate time after Covid to meet again. Our social meetings will seem depopulated. Dale will always be remembered. Please accept our condolences.

Memories of your Mom go as far back as I can remember, to the days when David and I would hide out in laundry room cupboards and peer through the kitchen window at the ‘two red eyes’. She is tied into our lives in a way that only kids growing up on the court could understand. Our childhoods would not have been the same without her.
