So sorry for your loss. I enjoyed working with her at the post office as well as socializing with her whenever we would cross paths. She always had a smile for anyone who came in contact with her.

Colleen and I were best friends almost immediately when we met at age 8 in Grade 3 at MacNiven School in Noranda, Quebec. We used to hitchhike at age 11 out to Kanasuta Ski Hill and we always had a blast. She and I lost touch in high school when Lillian, Colleen’s mom, moved the family to the Toronto area. But I was fortunate enough to spend time with Colleen once more back in 1970 or ’71 when she came to Montreal to see me. What a great gal she was!! I’ve always had a soft spot for Colleen and will never forget her. My sincere apologies go to her husband, children and Darlene and Debbie, whom I also remember well. God bless you and support you all through this time of grief.

Wow…sure hard to read this obituary..I played with Colleen In Noranda,Quebec from about age 6 or 7 until we lost touch in high school…I remember the family very well and how much fun Sharon,Colleen and I used to have..she definetly always was a happy girl and I have never forgotten our fun times as young girls..please accept my fondest condolences and just know that Colleen was ALWAYS a terrific girl…May God Bless

As I read the messages above, I realize I’ve missed Colleen’s wonderful personality even more than I would have thought over the last many years. I remember the young girl I walked to school with when I moved to Noranda. She lived across the street and was so kind to me at a time when I felt alone and without friends. Had the pleasure of chumming around with Colleen in the last 70’s, early 80’s. I remember her easily 30 years later as a wonderful giving person. So sorry to hear of her passing.

My memories include, the night she announced her engagement to her HPSC friends at Luigi’s, the many nights of school with Beth and Colleen at Humber College, where Colleen got her Interior Decorating Diploma, as well as many fun week-ends camping. She was always first to volunteer for any job.

Gary, Brad, Carrie our very heartfelt but belated condolences over your loss. We just found out now, two months later and it has taken several hours to digest this tragedy.

Though we have lost touch over the years, Colleen was a very good friend for 35 years. We had many good times while in the ski club. Colleen was always the life of the party and always ready willing and able to help friends While she may be departed, she will vividly live on in our memories and in our hearts.
