Best Friends

Sorry I was not there when you departed.
Was chasing an angel’s dreams to the west when we parted.
You and she had a spunky glow, your together now as I know.
Should of came out to the rust valley, pulling car parts in the alley.
We had fun skiing in the sun, traveling the moguls one by one.
Will soon go touring with you in your valiant in the sky. I guess
this is our last goodbye.
