Christina, known to her loved ones as Chris, passed away in her home on Friday, January 7, 2022 alongside her loving daughter Alanna. Chris was predeceased by her devoted husband Bob. Cherished mother of Paul and Alanna and predeceased by Joseph. Dear sister to Cathy, MaryAnne, Michael, David and predeceased by her eldest brother Frank. Treasured sister in law to John, Malcolm, Jennifer, Ellen, Arlene, Albert and Leslie. She will be remembered by her nieces and nephews as a joyful aunt with the loudest laugh.

As Winston Churchill said, ‘We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give’. Chris was a loving and thoughtful woman whose kindness and generosity were unmatched. She could light up a room with her boisterous laughter and radiating smile. Never without her lipstick, her favourite perfume and her nails always painted, Chris added glamour everywhere she went and offered a smile to every person she encountered. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

As the family is unable to receive friends and family for visitation at this time, they have asked in lieu of flowers donations can be made to Christina’s home parish in Hamilton, St. Patrick Parish, 440 King Street East, Hamilton, ON L8N 1C6. https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/119110450RR0019-st-patricks-parish/

Rest in paradise, I’m sure Bob was waiting at the pearly gates for his bride ❤️ Always happy memories with the whole family. We often talk about Bolton Baseball families, our conversations always include your family. We had so many lovely meals, games and pool parties to remember! Paul and Alanna big hugs to you both. Grief is a wild ride; I hope you find comfort in the memories of laughter and love through your tears. Your mom sure left a lasting impression. I know she is proud of the adults you two have become!

Condolence from Johnathan Price on January 17th, 2022 1:04 pm

Paul and his family feel like family to me, because they have treated me that way. I have countless memories of being invited to dinners and parties at the Caradrelli home in Bolton. Chris was always so warm, boisterous and encouraging. There was a lot of love in that home and Chris was a huge reason for that. The world is a little less bright now that Chris isn’t physically here any more, but her spirit and her best qualities live on in Paul and Alanna and in all those who love her. I have no doubt she is reunited with Bob now and that it’s been joyous for them. Sending strength to Paul and Alanna. I love you both.

Dear Paul and Alanna,
We are so very sorry to hear of your loss. It is truly heartbreaking to lose another parent, especially so young. My memories of Bob and Chris are mostly from when I was a child and teenager, before you were born. It somehow doesn’t seem that long ago and I can still picture them dancing closely at a family wedding, very much in love.
We would like to offer you our deepest condolences at this difficult time.
With Love,
Cindy, Len, Gabriella and families
