Charmaine Marie Groat (nee Merrick)

At home on Wednesday, November 4th 2020, Charmaine Grroat, at the age of 67 years. She leaves behind her husband of 46 years, Robert Groat; her three sons Robert Jr., Sean, and Michael; daughters-in-law Jennifer and Ashley. She is survived by grandkids Matthew, Jacob, Tristan, John, Emily, Sarah, Erin, Elizabeth, Mikayla, Ellanora, Liam & Kieran. She had a lot of extended family and friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy 50), Bolton (905-857-2213), on Monday, November 9th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 p.m. Please call the funeral home between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to schedule a time for visitation.
Masks are mandatory when you enter our home. Due to Covid-19, funeral service and interment will be by invitation only.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, November 10 at 11:00 a.m.
Private interment at Glendale Memorial Gardens, Etobicoke.
The family invites extended family and friends to watch the service on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. through live streaming at www.music21.ca/live.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Charmaine and I were best friends for many years, a long time ago. I’m so sorry we lost touch before we could properly reconnect. Many wonderful, fun memories are flooding my mind these past few days. The best thing about memories is that they live forever. You will always have the memories of your Mom, wife, grandmother and sister. She was unique and special.
