Peacefully at Dufferin Oaks, Shelburne, on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, Ted Savoury, in his 92nd year, beloved husband of the late Sylvia (nee Thompson). Loving father of Janet and her husband Chris Hillier, Robert Savoury and his wife Patricia. Cherished grandfather of Coby, Tyler, Kasey, Daniel, Timothy, Kirra and Aymie. Dear brother of Eileen, Doris , Pat, Girlie and Dot.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home Baxter & Giles Chapel, 273 Broadway, Orangeville (519-941-2630) on Friday evening from 7 to 9 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday morning, June 11 at 11 o’clock. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Orangeville. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Headwaters Health Care Foundation. Condolences for the family may be offered at www.EganFuneralHome.com

I have no words … thank you for sharing your Dad with us at Dufferin Oaks… it was a absolute pleasure to know such a fine man. Ted was not only a resident but my friend ( a friend of many ) Ted left a “footprint” on my heart, I will treasure and hold his memory dear.
I send my deepest condolences to each and everyone of you, know he loved you all dearly, bragged often, and had the biggest heart.
