Condolence from Kiley Davis on April 17th, 2023 1:32 pm

He was the most stubborn, impatient, annoying, giant pain in the butt ever but no one had a bigger heart than he did. All he wanted to do was to help and give to people and he would stop at nothing until he did…hence the stubborn, impatient, and annoying. You had to be careful not to mention in his presence that u wanted something or needed something because no matter how small, he would go to the ends of the earth to make sure he found it for you IYKYK. Don’t let the intimidating exterior fool you, he was just a big softy, and amazing dad grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was truly one of a kind and will forever be missed

Condolence from The Staff and Residents of Tudhope Manor on April 21st, 2023 9:09 am

Charlie was a bright light at Tudhope; he lived here for many years and touched many hearts. He had such a generous nature and made such a significant impact in the home. Charlie took the role of Santa Claus at Christmas very seriously, insisting that he hand out all the gifts to the other residents individually. He was our personal DJ in the home, sharing his love of music with residents and staff. Charlie would play music for special events and out on the porch in the summers for all to hear. He orchestrated letters to veterans, staff appreciation, and was always looking for a reason to do something nice for someone else. Charlie’s sense of humour was sharp and quick witted, certain to surprise. He loved to tell stories, whether it be about his time as a DJ, getting into trouble as a young man or his love for old cars. The Bradford Cruisers were as lucky to have him as we were. He will be missed but never forgotten.
