Condolence from Barbara Holmes on January 13th, 2017 8:37 pm

David and Helga, our thoughts are with you in this difficult time. We recognize how important your mother was to our brother Ken, and what a pleasure it has been for the Ontario branch of our family to have Sheppard relatives living in their area. Aunt Dellie’s passing is that much more painful, coming so soon after Uncle Nathan’s death. May your memories give you comfort. Barbara and Eldred Holmes, and Allen and Marilyn Wright.

Condolence from Gordon and Irene Wright on January 14th, 2017 8:48 pm

To David and Helga thinking of you at this time. Unfortunately Irene and I were unable to spend a lot of time with you family. However we have been very much aware of the love exchanged with our sister Pat and her husband Dwight and family, as well as my late brother Ken and also our late sister in law Joan. It is a wonderful unforgettable blessing to be able to recall these memories and we hope you can keep this in mind during the coming days and weeks. Thinking of you both and your family.

Condolence from Margaret King, Linda Ballantyne and Family on January 16th, 2017 9:55 am

Dear Dave, Helga and family, my family and I are so truly sorry to hear of the passing of your wonderful, loving mother. To me, Dellie wasn’t just the most dearest, loving sister but she became a devoted, adoring mother to me and brother Norm when I was only 10 years old at the passing of our own mother. She was like a mother hen, forever hovering, protecting and caring for her baby chicks.

Her gentle, loving ways, the unselfish giving of herself and assuring smile will truly be missed and never to be forgotten, forever imprinted in our hearts and minds. She was the finest of ladies who always made one feel comfortable, accepted, loved and welcomed. And as you know, she was strong, brave and very courageous!. She fought a good fight.

We pray that God’s peace and love will bring comfort and strength to you and yours to endure this season of great sorrow, but rest assured, that your loving mom, my precious sister, our courageous aunt, is now resting peacefully in a wonderful place. We love you all. Loving sister, Margaret King, niece, Linda Ballantyne and all the family.
