Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, on Monday, February 28, 2005, Catherine Purcell Lloyd, Bolton, in her 86th year. ﾠCay was married to the late Captain James Gerald Lloyd (TCA and Air Canada). ﾠLoving mother of James and his wife Andrea Lloyd. ﾠCay served in World War II in the Canadian Army Service Corps; enjoyed travelling, painting, curling and for some time was crafts director at Camp Tanamakoon. ﾠShe enjoyed many summers with family and friends at the family island in the ﾠSans Souci area on Georgian Bay. ﾠShe was a member of St. George’s Golf and Country Club and a member of the ladies curling executive. ﾠA private family service was held and interment has taken place in the family plot, in Victoria Lawn Cemetery, St. Catharines, Ontario. ﾠMemorial donations would be appreciated by the family, in Cay’s memory, to the Georgian Bay Foundation Land Trust, 2482 Yonge Street, ﾠP.O.
