With deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Carrie Lynne Mellor, in her 52nd year, in England, on Friday, January 4, 2019. She is survived by her two children Elliot and Olivia Pick, her mother Gloria Mellor, her brother Scott Mellor and nephew Bailey; her sister Julie and husband Scot Cardle and nephew Keon and niece Claire. Loving partner of Peter.

The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Sunday, January 27 from one o’clock until time of celebration of life in the chapel at 2 o’clock.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.

My sincere condolences on your family’s loss. Most of my memories of Carrie are from our days in public school at Summitview in Stouffville. She was always such a kind and caring person. I was truly very sad to hear this news.

My heartfelt condolences to Carrie’s family. I missed her when she moved back to England, but understood that she needed to be near Olivia and Elliott and was very sad to hear of her illness. Carrie was such a great person, we had great laughs and talks. I miss walking with her every day into the Region and the fact that she wouldn’t let me get away with going up the elevator, we always had to climb the 4 flights of stairs, I’m glad she did. Carrie I miss you!
