Condolence from Michelle Miller on January 12th, 2015 4:17 pm

My heart is sad and I was so sorry to hear about Carole passing away. Jeff and Carole are truly two of my favourite people and I will miss her tremendously!

I loved Carole’s sense of humour and quick wit. Carole always made the time to chat, loved telling proud stories about her grandchildren and we enjoyed many laughs.

Some of my fondest moments with Carole were the girls weekend away at the cottage and the holiday dinners. I distinctly remember one dinner when chaos had ensued in the kitchen – people were looking for dishes and utensils, yelling over one another and there was Carole in the middle of it all with the biggest grin on her face obviously enjoying the chaos.

Carole had a heart of gold and was loved by a great number of friends and family. Losing her has left a hole in my heart. I was lucky to have known such a great lady and she will always have a special place in my heart.

My thoughts are with Jeff and her family during this tremendously sad time.

Love,
Michelle, Ken, Tyler and Samantha

My deepest condolences to Carole’s family.
I first met Carole when I began working in the emergency department of York Central Hospital in Richmond Hill in 1995.
Carole was always friendly and approachable with a great sense of humour. As a highly experienced nurse, Carole took me under her wing, and whenever I needed help and guidance Carole was always there for me. She delivered the best care possible to her patients, and her kind nature and approach to her patients helped greatly to ease their anxiety. Rest in Peace Carole, you will be sadly missed.

Condolence from Shelagh Lippay on January 16th, 2015 1:22 am

My sincere condolences to Jeff, Tim, Todd and Mathew.

Carole was a true gem. She had a sparkle that preceded her as she entered any room. Her smile always came easy and her knowing
Wink always made us know that she had her eye on many of us Maple kids. She really did care a lot about a lot of us. He presence at the Maple arena and ball diamond also testament of her support of not only her own boys, but all the players equally. She was fair, and never afraid to say what she felt. My parents both treasured your moms wonderful company and quick humour. There is a good welcoming committee at the Manfreds Deli somewhere out there for all good coffee drinkers to reunite. Be at peace knowing you had a truly remarkable woman in your world .
Kindest regards,
Shelagh Lippay
