Dear Jean, Shannon and Al.
Our heart felt condolences to you and your entire family during this time of loss. Our memories of Calvin are that of a good loving husband and father and a dear friend to many. He was one of the good guys, someone who would always greet anyone he met with that wonderful happy-to-see-you smile on his face. Always polite and kind.
May God comfort you during this difficult time of grief and may all your memories of Calvin’s life be memories too beautiful to forget. Cherish and keep them in the memory of your hearts today, tomorrow and always – Even though Calvin is no longer with us today continue to carry on your lives in his honor and for God’s glory. God bless you all and may you continue to be a blessing to others as you have been as well. With love.

Condolence from Diana, Kristopher & Michael Garvie on September 14th, 2013 3:18 pm

Jean, Shannon, Al and family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you through this difficult time. We all enjoyed and loved Calvin’s humor and frendship. If Dave were here he would be heart broken as Calvin touched his life in so many ways. He always said Calvin is like a father to me….I love that guy! We are sure Calvins spirit will live on as well as good memories. May God give you strength through your grieving and comfort in knowing he is with God.

Love
Diana, Kris and Mike Garvie. xoxoxoxo

Condolence from Brad Stead on September 15th, 2013 6:03 am

Heaven just got better by one more fisherman. You could always tell where the Stead’s kettle was being boiled on the shore of Kenisis Lake. All you had to do was follow the sound of Calvin’s booming laughter.
But then again how could you tell who was laughing louder or acting more foolish and lying about where the lake trout were biting between Calvin, Al and Wilf?

God Bless you Calvin

Condolence from Lynette Polsinelli on September 17th, 2013 3:14 am

Dear Jean, Shannon, Al & family, Matthew and I were very sorry to hear of Calvin’s passing. We know how difficult this time will be for all of you. As you reflect on the many cherished memories you had with Calvin know that we are also remembering special times spent with him and all of you. He was a very kind, caring man and a blessing to know. I also know that Aldo thought very highly of Calvin and looked up to him as a brother in Christ. Our prayer is that you may find peace knowing that he has gone home to be with the Lord and will share in the glory with friends who have gone before him. We will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers asking God to extend His grace, comfort and strength in the days ahead as you mourn the loss of your beloved husband, father and grandfather. May you always remember that you are not alone. With our deepest sympathy and Christian love, Lynette
