Lynda:-
I had no idea of Bruce’s passing till I picked up the May 27th edition of the Enterprise! I’m sorry I could not have paid my respects in person at Eagan’s.
As with the people before me have written, what stands out in my mind about Bruce was his sense of humour (which we occasionally fenced with) and his ultra quick prediliction to casting a large smile. In fact, I can see it as I type this.
I ran into Bruce about a year ago at a filling station and he told me he had some health issues. However, I did not know it was going in this direction.
He was a great guy and we are poorer without his personality and enthusiasm…and he’s also fortunate that I never discovered his middle name was Irwin…he would have thanked his lucky stars that he had moved out of Bolton.
Miss him already, Lynda. I trust you and the boys are working your way through this.
Kindest personal regards and sympathies…
Dear Lynda:
I am so sorry as above I just read it in this weeks paper. As you know Bruce held a special place in all of our hearts at the store.
He brought sunshine and laughter to each of us. I have gotten to know Bruce thru the years and truly valued his friendship. His upbeat personality and outlook always inspired me. I will truly miss him as will all the staff at the store. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family . Nancy

Dear Lynda, Chris & Andy
Awfully sorry to hear about Bruce.
I still recall when Andy, you cut your leg rather bad – one of the many times as kids we were playing in the ravine – and you ran home into your father’s arms and i remember him rocking you back and forth consoling you, telling you that everything will be alright, a loving father to the both of you.
Our prayers and condolences to all of you.
