Condolence from Lenore (Hesp) and Greg Corbett on March 20th, 2016 11:47 pm

Dear Lorna,

We are so sorry to hear of Bruce’s passing. Bruce was a good and gentle man. The Wilsons and the Hesps were lifelong neighbours and friends. I fondly remember the many visits by the Wilson boys to the farm in Hammertown. It was always a good day whenever either Bruce, Murray or Ormie visited. Mom and Bruce shared a special bond (and a birth day one year removed – Mom being a year older) and he was a loyal friend until her passing.

With our sincere condolences to all of the family,

Lenore (Hesp) and Greg Corbett

Condolence from Ken and Christina Graham on March 22nd, 2016 3:22 pm

Always one of my favorite friends, Bruce was a kind, unassuming, , humble and very smart gentleman. While politicians might set up a committee to study a problem, and lawyers might go over abstracts, Bruce would quietly solve the problem and fix it.
Like all farmers, he would tackle any problem with remarkable success, even when he was 85. It is only in the last few years that the ravages of old age finally caught up with Bruce. I have enjoyed working together with Bruce in cutting trees, learning about tractors or in finding a solution. He also worked on the cemetery with Bill Egan and everything was always perfect. I will miss talking with Bruce and Lorna over just about anything. We are deeply saddened by the loss of Bruce, but know that he had a great life. We send our condolences to Lorna, who looked after him so well, and to all of the family.
