Retired pressman with Toronto Star, retired firefighter with Nobleton Volunteer Fire Department after 35 years of service.
After a short and courageous battle with a brain tumour at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, Brian M. Bones, Nobleton, in his 69th year, beloved husband of Frances Forester. Dear father of David and Heather Bones, Cheryl and Kent Hamilton, Nancy and Steve Young. Cherished grandfather of Brandon, Brett, Sandra, Breanne, Laura, Megan and Rachel. Dear brother of Beverley and Darrell Licastro. Dear brother-in-law of Lila Forester, Sandra and Bill Lawrence, Nancy and Doug Massing, Shirley and Bob Difebo.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Friday afternoon and evening from 2-4 and 7-9 o’clock.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, October 22 at 2 o’clock.
Followed by cremation.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to Nobleton United Church, P.O. Box 284, Nobleton L0G 1N0.
