With heavy hearts and our deepest condolences. What a wonderful and loving lady Billie was. Have nothing but great memories when she lived on our Crescent. She just knew what to say and what to do when it came to Jason and Derek. Will be missed by many.

Dear Wendy,

There are no words that can express how deeply sorry we are to learn of the passing of your Mother, Billie. Both Billie and our Mother, Ann, have been the closest of friends while together as residents for close to 6 years at The Vera Davis Nursing Home. Our family became very fond of Billie throughout the years with her great dry sense of humor not to mention the comfort we as well as our late father Bob Degeling felt knowing our Mother had such a wonderful friend as Billie. They were “two peas in a pod” and were always by each others side. For this we will always be grateful. Wendy, should you ever wish to contact any one of us, please do not hesitate to do so, especially at this difficult time. Just let Jane or Melody know at The Vera Davis Nursing Home and they will let you know how to reach us. We are there for you.

We are sorry to hear of Billie’s passing. She was a fixture in the neighbourhood during our 14 years on Ellwood East. We enjoyed many discussions at the front of your house on warm summer nights.
