Peacefully at Village of Sandalwood Park, Brampton on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, Bertha Passingham, in her 99^th year, beloved wife of the late William Passingham (1996), St. Catharines and Fred Strong (1953), Bolton. Loving mother of Sarah and Orval Mashinter, Lois and Ken Reid, Oliver and Rae Strong, Edna and Keith Richardson and predeceased by her infant son Robert (1943). Chosen mother of Martin (Scotty) and Bette (deceased) McHardy and mother-in-law of Marlene and Jack McIntyre. Dear step-mother of Edward (deceased) and Florence Passingham. Cherished grandmother of 17 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Noreen VanAlstine, Dundalk. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S.
