At King Nursing Home, Bolton, on Thursday, December 23, 2010, Bert Taylor, Bolton, in his 79th year, beloved husband of the late Thelma Hunt. Dear father of Barbara and Mike Tanos, Bruce Taylor, Terry Taylor and Keri Odell, Judy Taylor and Pat Martin. Dear grandfather of Kate and Erin; Evan and Wyatt; Chris and Brian. Son of the late Willard and Bessie Taylor. Brother of Jean, William, Mina, Fred, Margaret and predeceased by Russell, Ruth, and Alex.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Egan Funeral Home, Bolton (905-857-2213).
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Please know we are thinking of you during this difficult time.
I remember your dad so well and it has been very special after all these years we continued to exchange Christmas cards. As funny as the Taylor’s can be, one year he sent back the card I sent him the year before with his name on it. I have told this story countless times about my Uncle Bert….priceless.
You all remain in our thoughts and prayers.

I have many fond memories growing up & spending time at the old Bolton farm in Albion family gatherings with your family. They were large gatherings with 23 grandchildren with our parents in the photos which I still have in my possession here in Florida.

I too have fond memories of Uncle Burt growing up and going to granny and granpa Taylors Farm. I remember thinking he was so tall and hearing his laughter as all our aunts and uncles had really good times together as us kids terroized the farm animals and licked the cows salt blocks… crazy but fun times

Bert was a kind man with few words, but always with a smile on his face when the volunteers dropped off his meals.
