1933 – 2015

Heaven has gained another angel. Walter is now reunited with his beloved late wife Marjorie.

Together Forever

It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Walter Bell on Tuesday, November 17, 2015. Walter was a very loving and devoted father to Ian and his wife Ingeborg and a much cherished grandfather to Kyle and Katrina. His great-granddaughter Arianna was his newest “Sweetheart”. Brother to Clarence (predeceased), Doris Watson and Lois (Ken) Sanderson. Walter was born in, raised, and remained a lifelong resident of Kleinburg and enjoyed 50 years sitting proudly behind the wheel of his truck. All those who knew him and met him will remember him with affection and will grieve the loss of a very special person in their lives.

The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213), Friday evening 7 to 9 o’clock and Saturday morning, November 21, from 10 o’clock until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 o’clock.

Interment Glendale Memorial Gardens, Etobicoke.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of York, 6 – 800 Davis Drive, Newmarket L3Y 2R5.

Our deepest sympathies Ian , Ingeborg , and family on the loss of Walter . I am further saddened by that fact that we cannot personally pay our respects as we are leaving for Vacation on Friday morn. Have been thinking all day of the times spent with you Ian and your dad in the old days , blazing trails with those beasty polaris’s throughout the Humber River watershed !! Fun times I’ll never forget !! And my wife Christine with her time with “Wally’s Angels” Ian your father was a very special guy !! Having dealt with Alzheimers in my family I am glad your dad is at peace now from such a terrible disease .

Condolence from Donna Murphy on November 20th, 2015 9:44 am

Ian and Inge, we are so sorry you have gone through such a tragic time with Walter and our condolences to you and Kyle and Katrina. Your parents were such good neighbours all those years in Kleinburg and I sure have missed them since I moved. I’m sorry I won’t be able to make it tonight, two trips in one day, especially at night are too much for me, and tomorrow’s forecast for my area is not encouraging. Hugs are coming your way. Donna, Kevin and Ryan Murphy
