January 16, 1938 – November 5, 2011
After a short illness, Barbara Walker passed away from a stroke at the William Osler Health Centre in Brampton on Saturday, November 5, 2011, surrounded by her children. She is pre-deceased by her husband William Frederick Walker, sisters Gwendolyn Ewart and Mary Upton and her brother Keith Dowling. She will be sadly missed by her surviving family, son, Wayne Walker; daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Mark Cooney; grandchildren, Matthew and Caitlyn Cooney; brother and sister-in-law Blythe and Joyce Dowling; nephew and spouse, Garth and Jennifer Young; brother-in-law, Wilfred Ewart and her many friends. As per her wishes no funeral service will be held.
