Just wanted you to know that Barbara was a special person. She was funny and generous. You could count on her to give the secretaries a little something on every occasion, such as Christmas, Admin Assistance day, Valentines day and sometimes for no reason at all. She always had a smile on her face. I even went to one of her belly dancing classes that she tried to start at St. Jean.

I will truly miss her and I will never forget her.

My deepest condolences to Jerry, Jonathan and all of Barb’s family. I only knew Barb for a short time at St. Jean de Brebeuf but she had a positive impact on all of us. She was a very special lady!

It is with real sadness that I hear of the passing of Barbara and I want to express “my sincere sympathy to her husband and her son, including all in the families touched by her departure”.
Like many colleagues, I worked with Barbara mostly at SJA but our paths crossed many times in the last years.
Barbara was always friendly, funny, sincere and dedicated to her work and her students-.
She will be remembered. May she be in a better place. We’ll pray.

Barbara was my friend and I loved her dearly. She touched my life in a way that I will never forget and I will miss her so much. I admired her as a teacher and as a strong and independent woman. I could not of asked for a more caring loving beautiful sister. Everyone whom has ever met Barbara, has been touched by an angel. Truly to say, we have an angel watching over us now. To Jerry and Jonathan,
For me this has to be the hardest sympathy letter I have to write. I have known Barbara for the past 3 years, not only as a colleague, but as a true friend. Barbara was always there for me giving me advice and telling me not to worry. She was an amazing role model for me, especially while we worked with our FLS students. Barbara just knew how to work with kids. I am glad that I had the pleasure of knowing Barbara.
Jonathan, I know that your mom lives in you. She loved you a lot!
Jerry, I am glad that Barbara had you as her sole mate. You both were amazing together!

We loved Barbara’s humour, raw honesty and no nonsense approach when facing all of life’s challenges. We will never forget the lessons of life she shared with us or her compassion for helping those less fortunate. She will truly be missed.

I met Barbara in the summer of 1996. She and I taught English at Holy Cross Summer School next door to each other, and we shared a camaraderie that can only be shared by two people working in the heat of summer trying to get teenagers focused on Shakespeare. But we got through it with much laughter.

We met again, in 2007 when I began working in the same dept. with Barbara, in Special Ed. at St. Jean de Brebeuf. I have so enjoyed working with Barbara. With her wisdom, courage, and talent in working with students, she has taught me so much. She was not just a colleague, though, she was a good friend. I will so very much miss you, Barb (as I called you, but you sometimes corrected me!)

Jerry and Jonathan, my condolences extend to you and your family at this very difficult time. I pray that you find strength through your memories with Barbara.
