On Monday, May 4th, 2026, Audrey McCluskey of Caledon East, at the age of 80 years passed away peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital. Beloved wife of Robert McCluskey for 60 wonderful years. Loving Mother to Carolyn and her husband Anthony Wainwright and Wayne McCluskey. Loving Nana to Michelle and her husband Christopher Woodhead, Amanda McKendry and a very proud Great-Nana to Avalynn Woodhead. She was the dear sister of Brian and Maria Kirkpatrick and predeceased by Eileen Fell and her husband Ian, John Kirkpatrick and his widow Sue Kirkpatrick, and a dear aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

Audrey was a woman who loved and cherished her Family above all else. She loved her Blue Jays, word searches, scratch tickets and writing letters to her family and friends. She also deeply loved her photographs, filling photo albums and scrapbooks with memories of home in Carlisle, England, her family, her children and grandchildren. Capturing those memories and preserving them was so very important to her. Having come to Canada with Robert at a young age, she treasured her photos of family and Home and would always love to share her collection with everyone she met.

Audrey will be deeply missed by her family and friends, she was and is loved by so many.

A private family service has taken place. Condolences for the family may be offered at www.EganFuneralHome.com

I had the pleasure of growing up next door to Audrey, Robert and my earliest friends Wayne and Carolyn.

McCluskey Family.

Very saddened to hear of Audery’s passing. I worked with her and Bob for quite a few years at the IGA store. She was a strong woman with a mind of her own. If you stepped over the line she’d set you straight , if you were down she’d give you caring wisdom . A great lady and will be missed.

Caroline, Tony and Wayne I am very sad to hear of your mom’s passing and to Uncle Robert your wife. Maria and Brian, sorry you have lost your sister and many condolences to the rest of the family. I am thrilled to have spent time with Auntie Audrey, after many years, at Michelle’s wedding. She was like I remember her as a kid. No nonsense and tell it like it is. She was the most down to earth, funny and always welcoming. Whenever I have pictured her over the years she was laughing. Thinking of you all. XO Deb
