June 23, 1925 – October 6, 2016

Peacefully, with her family by her side, at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston, on Thursday, October 6, 2016, Audrey Dorney, of Tottenham, beloved wife of the late Frank Samuel Dorney. Cherished mother of Sharon Dorney and Jeffrey Bowen. Proud Nana of Brian and Leanne Richards, Sarah and Laine Curtis, Samuel Field and Tamara Tupper. Loving GG of Joeli, Dalton, Tristan, Braden, Dakota, Jack, Walker, and Memphys. Dear sister of Edith Pidgeon and the late Douglas, Frank, Norah, Madge and Doris. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Friday, October 14, in the afternoon from 2 – 4 and evening 7- 9 o’clock.

Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, October 15 at one o’clock.

Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation, 200 Fletcher Crescent, Alliston L9R 1W7.

My mom Elaine, Audrey’s niece, says Audrey was one of her most favourite people in the world… and that she will miss her dearly. Audrey’s passing came as a total surprise; she was supposed to live forever! She had abundant energy and it was clear that she was very dear to her family.
