June 23, 1925 – October 6, 2016
Peacefully, with her family by her side, at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston, on Thursday, October 6, 2016, Audrey Dorney, of Tottenham, beloved wife of the late Frank Samuel Dorney. Cherished mother of Sharon Dorney and Jeffrey Bowen. Proud Nana of Brian and Leanne Richards, Sarah and Laine Curtis, Samuel Field and Tamara Tupper. Loving GG of Joeli, Dalton, Tristan, Braden, Dakota, Jack, Walker, and Memphys. Dear sister of Edith Pidgeon and the late Douglas, Frank, Norah, Madge and Doris. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Friday, October 14, in the afternoon from 2 – 4 and evening 7- 9 o’clock.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, October 15 at one o’clock.
Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation, 200 Fletcher Crescent, Alliston L9R 1W7.

Audrey was a wonderful personable lady with a twinkle in her eye and a smile for all. She will be missed by many. Our condolences to your whole amazing family.
We are so honoured that were able to get to know this wonderful lady. We have always been welcomed at family get togethers with open arms and this is a testimony to kindness that she passed on to her family. What an amazing legacy to leave behind.
I recall how her family rallied behind her when a tree fell on her home. Her family is a reflection of her kind and gentle personality. God Bless.
My mom Elaine, Audrey’s niece, says Audrey was one of her most favourite people in the world… and that she will miss her dearly. Our love and prayers to the whole family… as we remember the warmth and light Audrey always brought with her… and cherish the memories she left with us. May you be comforted with God’s love and the support of family and friends at this time.

Audrey’s passing came as a total surprise; she was supposed to live forever! She had abundant energy and it was clear that she was very dear to her family. My prayers have been with you all since learning of your great sadness. May you find warmth and comfort in the memory of the many loving, happy times you had together.

Audrey was a great and gracious lady and we so enjoyed our time with her around the bridge table. She was sharp as a tack to the end. We will miss her.
