Peacefully, with his family by his side, at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, on Monday, October 7, 2013, Arie Niezen, in his 72nd year, beloved husband of Reina Schutten. Loving father of Margaret and her husband Paul Janssen, Rob and his wife Lynn Niezen. Cherished grandfather of Natasha, Tim, Dan and Matt Janssen, Michael and Devon Niezen. Dear brother of Nellie and her husband Russ Farrell, Bert and his wife Diane Niezen.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home Baxter & Giles Chapel, 273 Broadway, Orangeville (519-941-2630) on Thursday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in the Canadian Reformed Church, 55 C Line, Orangeville on Friday, October 11 at 2 o’clock. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Anchor Association, 653 Broad Street W., Dunnville N1A 1T8 (www.anchor-association.com). Marg & Paul, I didn’t know that Arie was your Dad. I knew him through Irwin Scott and knew that he was the, best in his class I thought I might make it to the funeral home, but it am getting over Open Heart Surgery on Sept 4th. So I want to express my condolences to you both, and tell you how much I respected your Dad & his work. I know he us in a better place, one I trust we will all rise to and you will all be reunited.
