Fiorini Anthony (Tony) Joseph
August 22, 1936 – October 22, 2015
Passed peacefully at Simcoe Manor, Beeton after a long struggle with MSA Parkinsons disease, Anthony (Tony) Joseph Fiorini, in his 80th year, beloved husband of Norma (nee Amos). Loving father to Douglas (Donna Lee), and Daniel (Karen). Cherished Poppa to Dianna (Cris), Nicholas, Nicole and Matthew. Dear Grand Poppa to Amelia Lee and Myles Anthony. Son of the late Dominic and Mary, brother to John (deceased) (Paulette), Susan, and Carm (Phil). The “Big Guy” to many nieces and nephews. Tony was the co-founder of Trexcon Limited and Maple Ridge Construction. Winner of the Rotarian Paul Harris award. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Paula Harvey at Women’s College Hospital and Dr. Susan Fox at the Movement Clinic Toronto Western Hospital, Dr. Dominique Lussier, and the caregivers at Simcoe Manor for their kindness and compassion taking care of Tony and helping us deal with his illness these last few years.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Sunday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday morning, October 26 at 11 o’clock.
Followed by cremation.
If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Society, 4211 Yonge Street, Suite 316, Toronto M2P 2A9 or the Movement Clinic at Toronto Western Hospital, 399 Bathurst Street, Toronto M5T 2S8.
