Baldesarra Web

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anthony (Tony) Baldesarra, who left us on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at Toronto General Hospital, at the age of 59. Tony leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Tony was the beloved husband and best friend of Sandra for 30 years, and a devoted father to his twin children, Alyssa and Matthew. His love and guidance will forever be treasured by his family. He was the cherished son of Attilio (deceased) and Concetta, and the loving brother of Lorenzo and his wife Silvia. Tony was a loving presence and a source of strength and joy to his extended family.  Dear son-in-law of Sossio and Caterina Morra.  Dear brother-in-law of Teresa and her husband Diego, Sam and his wife Louanne.  Loving uncle of David (Becky), Laura, Gina (Johnny), Juliann, Leanna, and Alexandra whose lives were brightened by his warmth and affection.  Fondly remembered by his great-nieces and nephews baby Lily (deceased), Luca, Nico, Evienna, and Gianmichael.

Tony was known for his unwavering passion for the Toronto Maple Leafs, and his love for his family was unparalleled. He found his greatest joy in raising his children and took immense pride in their accomplishments. Tony had a gift for storytelling and had an innate ability to bring smiles to the faces of his nephew and nieces, whom he cherished dearly.  His loss will be keenly felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Tony’s memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends, and the impact of his love and kindness will continue to resonate in the lives of those he touched.  Tony will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May he rest in peace, knowing that he was truly loved and will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew him.

The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen St. S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Wednesday evening 6 – 9 o’clock, Thursday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 6 – 9 o’clock.

Funeral Mass will be held in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 60 Allan Drive, Bolton on Friday morning, December 1 at 11 o’clock.

Entombment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 7300 Hwy. 27, Woodbridge.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (www.heartandstroke.ca)  or SickKids Foundation (www.sickkidsfoundation.com).
