Condolence from Mohanjit Singh & Vijay Bhatia and family from London on June 23rd, 2011 1:26 pm

A message to say what a loving and kind gentleman Anoop Uncle was.

He really was a lovely man and a good friend to my father (Mohan) and very hospitable to us on our stays in Toronto.

Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

Condolence from Nora and Seán from Ireland on June 24th, 2011 10:10 am

Our deepest sympathies Mrs.Bhatia,Ena,Maura ; Nicole, Brent and their family on this sudden tragic loss. We have very cherished memories of him from our various trips to Toronto over the last 40 years. He always treated us with great respect and dignity and we held him in very high regard. At our last meeting,he sang a beautiful Indian song for us and was in great form. As we say in Gaelic, Leaba i measc na Naomh aige.

Condolence from Amar Bhatia (London) on June 24th, 2011 12:11 pm

I reminisce of the time…only a few years ago, where we (my father Mohan, cousin Gurinder-Mohan and myself) had a barbeque in the back yard with Anup- thank you for your kind hospitality!

Although we seldom spoke on the phone, the occasions on which we met manifested great love and respect between the two of us and our families.

May your kind soul rest in peace.

Anoop was a great friend to us through out the years. We became friends 12 years ago when we moved next door to him. During our many, many talks he always nothing but had kind words and great advise. Never a bad thing to say about anyone. Truly one of a kind. The Bhatia family has lost a great man and Habitat Sq has lost a great friend and neighbour. My deepest sympathies to the Bhatia family. .

Anoop my friend rest in peace, You are forever in our hearts. .

Condolence from Alex on October 31st, 2011 11:41 am

My sincerest condolences to Ena the Bhatia family. Anoop was a principled man who treated everyone with respect, kindness and warmth. He loved to laugh and his eyes had a brilliance to them when one spoke to him. He was a dedicated son above and beyond anyone’s expectations, caring for his parents and then his mother until he passed away.I am going to miss sharing my private thoughts and talking to him as we did often. I will miss you and remember you forever as you were one of my TRUE friends in this world.
