Condolence from Robin Hodge on June 22nd, 2016 12:11 pm

This week, we say goodbye to a wonderful human. He may not have been related by blood but he was still our Uncle Andy. He was our dad’s best friend and the best man at our parents’ wedding. My brothers and I loved visiting him and his chatty pet cockatiel named Buzz. He introduced us to computer games, The Wizard of Oz, his mum’s Polish pickles and the joys of homemade bread. We feasted like kings at his place and were always excited for him to take us swimming at his building’s pool. He was so kind to us and ever patient, even through all our bickering over whose turn it was to play Cosmo. Such a good-natured person with so many interests in life. Gone too soon.
Our family will miss him very much. Rest in peace, Uncle Andy. Thank you for everything.
