Condolence from Sheila Pugh on December 3rd, 2010 5:30 pm

It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing to another life of Alice, she was a very special person. I will always remember times spent with her, playing a game of crib, enjoying a glass of wine, or even watching a movie on tv. She was thought of very fondly in the apartment complex where we lived prior to her move to Caledon. My thoughts, condolences and wishes go to her family.
Alice you were a sweetheart. It was my pleasure to have known you

Condolence from Margaret and Alex Thompson on December 4th, 2010 2:26 am

On behalf of Rose Branch (Court Rose) of the Foresters and both Alex and Myself personally please accept our condolences on your Mother’s passing. It has been many years since we’ve seen her but we all have great memories of working with Alice and George when Court Rose was still a young and struggling group. I cannot believe that almost 40 years have passed. We spent many hours with your Mom and Dad planning, figuring out budgets and laughing about how on earth we would manage to provide dances, Xmas parties , etc. for the members of Foresters.
Alex and I in particular have happy memories of George convincing us that we REALLY should get involved as Young ideas were needed. I can still hear your Dad laughing and your Mom saying now, George. Memories are amazing things and I hope that you will cherish them. God Bless all of you at this difficult time.
Sincere condolences Margaret Thompson.

Condolence from Jennifer (Anthony) Smith on December 6th, 2010 9:58 pm

Dear Carol, Janice & Families: Please accept my heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your Mom. I have many fond memories of both your Mom & Dad going back about 50 years to our high school days. Unfortunately , as time goes by we sometimes lose touch with our old friends. At a time such as this we do remember the great times & the people who made it that way.
My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
Jennifer (Anthony) Smith
