Alex was unforgettable. From the first moment I met him in the mid nineties, he was a constant guide and mentor in this very turbulent travel business. He told it like it is, like it was, like it had been – you always knew where you stood with Alex.

I can’t count over the years how many conversations we have had planning our trips that turned into hour long conversations. He always had a story and an antidote to share. Loved his “school bus with wings”

I actually never met Alex in person as I live in Oshawa but I felt like I knew him because he shared himself and truly cared about people.
