It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Aldo Chiarot on July 7th 2025. He was a devoted father, beloved grandfather, and cherished friend, who left this world surrounded by the love of his family and friends.

Born on April 9, 1952, to Evelina & Giacinto Chiarot in Tiezzo Italy.

Aldo lived a life marked by generosity, brilliance, and a deep devotion to those he held dear. He was a loving father to his two sons, Mauro (Natasha) and Carlo (Katherine). His love and guidance live on through his four treasured granddaughters — Julianna, Kianna, Alessandra, and Gabriella — each of whom brought endless pride and joy to his life.

Aldo is survived by his brother Renato and his sisters Gina and Ines, who remember him not only as family but as a source of strength, wit, and unwavering loyalty.

A man of many talents, Aldo had a gift for creation and repair — there truly wasn’t a thing he couldn’t fix. In his spare time, he found joy in building intricate, scaled remote-controlled machines, a hobby that showcased both his precision and imagination. His inventive mind was matched only by his adventurous spirit; Aldo was an avid hunter, finding peace and purpose in nature and the wilderness. He also enjoyed watching formula 1 and soccer.

Above all, Aldo was a brilliant man with a kind heart — a loyal friend who offered a helping hand without hesitation, a father whose wisdom and love shaped the lives of his children, and a grandfather whose stories and laughter will echo for generations.

He will be missed deeply but remembered always, in every project completed with care, in every story told around a fire, and in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.

A Memorial Reception will be held at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Saturday, July 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

What a lovely and fitting tribute to Aldo’s memory. Please accept our condolences to the whole family for your loss.

I had occasion to meet and know Aldo through my dearest friend Sue and Renato (Aldo’s triplet sibling). He was a wonderful and kind man who indeed loved his family. We would like to also extend our sympathy to Renato and to Sue for the great loss of a cherished brother. Reno , Arturo and Aldo were inseparable in life.

To Aldo’s children your concern and loyalty to and for your father did not go unnoticed and was praised. In spite of many health challenges you provided comfort and love to him. You were his greatest treasure who provided the kind of support any parent would be honoured to accept from their children. It is clear you were a blessing for one another.

May Aldo now rest in peace and be rewarded for his purposeful life, as promised by our Lord.

Aldo, from the first time we met almost 20years ago you and your boys Mauro and carlo adopted me as a brother and friend. You i instilled respect and a great work ethic in your own life and in the way you raised Mauro and Carlo. Mauro got your rugged good looks and Carlo your crushing hand Shake. Some times I think Carlo did it purposely. Thank you for welcoming me into your home and showing me all those great mechanical creations . It showed how meticulous and smart you truly were. I will be raising a glass in your honor, rest in peace Aldo. Condolences to the chariot Family

Dear Family of Aldo Chiarot,

I was deeply saddened to hear of Aldo’s passing. He meant so much to my father (Mario Basso)—not just as a friend, but as a constant presence through the years, someone who shared in so many moments of life, laughter, and loyalty.
I grew up hearing stories about their adventures in Italy, and they always made me smile. It was clear how much love and respect my dad had for him, and those memories have stayed with me.
Please know that he will be truly missed. May he rest in peace, and may his memory continue to bring warmth and strength to everyone who knew and loved him.

With sincere sympathy,

Erica Vriend & family
