Condolences for the family of “Albert Jonker”

Condolence from Bruce and Helen Fraser on November 22nd, 2011 4:32 pm

Albert was a good friend to Bruce and myself. Albert and Bruce often took a drive to the Pines, or into the country to see what was happening in the farming community. I remember Albert bringing the camper over to see how to set the propane for the fridge and Bruce and him taking the camper to be winterized and stored this fall.
We will miss his booming voice and his bass singing.
We know he has had many stuggles the last couple of years and are so glad he passed on peacefully. He will be missed in Pete’s and the Friendly Cafe.
Our sympathies go out to Ali and her family along with Albert’s sibliings.

Ali , our thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time. Albert was a dear friend , and he fought a hard battle . We said our goodbyes at the nice lunch we had together before we left for Florida. He knew we wouldn”t see each other again. But he gave the same hug and hand shake as always. Bill will miss all the touring they did together. We will miss him but he now is at peace with the Lord. God bless you all. Love Bill and Maureen Bryan.

Clarence & I would like to extend our sincere condolences on the death of Albert, a husband and father. The last time I spoke to Albert he was hopeful that things were going to get better. Take care.
We live just around the corner at 427 Pineview Gardens and he used to stop and say hello when he was driving by. We will miss that.

Ali;

I had the pleasure of knowing Albert for many years, having met him one Wednesday night at Orangeville. A few years after that, I had the honour of helping Albert put together a meeting at Grand Valley.

I moved from that area years ago, but never forgot Albert. He was a man with a heart as big as the world and he will be missed, but the Lord had work for Albert to do in Heaven. He is now at peace.

God Bless you and your family.

Condolence from Diane Griffith & Kevin McArthur on November 25th, 2011 5:30 pm

I first met Albert when he came to one of our auction sales. His big booming laugh, very firm handshake & friendly personality endeared him to me right away. We saw him frequently at sales, in town & out & about. And we always had a bit of fun chatting together & teasing each other. I last saw him at a 4-H meeting where we had a nice talk. He will be sincerely missed by all of us. It is a great loss for your family. Our sincere sympathies to all of you.
