Dearest Kathie, Jessica and Connor,

For 20 years we have had the great privilege of living next door to an incredible man – your husband/father. If one were to write a book on how to be a good neighbour, Adam would certainly be the star in that book! Always there, willing to lend a helping hand. We looked forward to seeing Adam and sharing the latest news – on our driveways or in our garages. We will miss his ready smile and wonderful laugh but feel so lucky that we have had him in our lives. We will hold the countless images in our minds of Adam saddling up on his bike, heading out to conquer some challenging Caledon mountain biking paths…Happy Trails, Adam!

We send our deepest condolences to you and your family.

Roger and Frances Tribert
…and Loki!

Dear Kathie, Jessica and Connor,

We have been blessed to have Adam as our friend and neighbor for close to 20 years. We looked forward to chatting with him while he tended to the yard, barbequed, or geared up for a bike ride. He always had a positive energy that quickly lifted anyone’s mood. Adam never complained not even about the weather! He was very wise as he only gave his attention to the things that he valued. His happy spirit, goodness and dignity had a profound impact on our family. We will miss him dearly and will always cherish Adam in our hearts.

Our most heartfelt condolences to your family.

Dear Pattersons,

I knew Adam as Jan’s brother. Though I met him infrequently he always spoke to me with so much warmth and kindness and he was always so interested to talk with me. I realize from the messages of condolences left by his closest neighbours and friends that I wasn’t getting any special treatment — this was how Adam was with everyone. He was such a genuine and friendly person.

My condolences to all of you,

Terry Lahey

Condolence from Sharlene Mackie on February 19th, 2021 8:32 pm

It is with heavy heart I write this, I cannot believe that it is real. There was never a better man, husband, father, son, SIL, brother, uncle, friend and so much more. I know there are no words that can mend your broken hearts but please know how much we loved Adam and what an honour it was to know and talk to him. He had such a gentle way about him that made you feel comfortable no matter what it was about. I know he leaves a huge hole in your lives and nothing or noone can make that better but I pray that with time, you can focus more on all the good times you had together and all the life lessons he taught us all. I would like to be half the person he was and then I would be doing something. Please know we are here for you anytime you need. Love Sharlene, Nehat, Melissa, Taras, Michelle, Brad, Flakron & Artan
