Lorne, Linda, Doug! Your mom my aunt was more then a mom to me.I have plenty of fond memories of her. She was always there and now she will be looking over us always. I will miss her so much! As you may remember She was like a second Mother to myself and
a few other teenagers when we used to hang around the Thomson
Farm House our second Home. I have many good memories of a
BEAUTIFUL, SMILING, WARM HEARTED LADY. And you know she

Jean was a wonderful lady. She would occasionally pick me up in that big car of hers to play bridge. She was so joyful and positive that she became a wonderful example of how to age gracefully with guts. Our whole Kleinburg community will miss her.

I was very saddened to hear of Jean’s passing. I first met Jean in 1987 and knew right away that she was a very special lady. Although I’ve never met her family, I know she was very proud of all of you, especially the grandchildren, and talked of you often. Please accept my deepest sympathy on your loss and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Jean will be sorely missed, by us neighbours, the bridge group, the garden club etc. etc. Her positive disposition was an inspiration to us all. I shall always remember her smile that last Saturday, when she was welcoming the many visitors, despite the pain she was enduring. And last BinderTwine, when, despite difficulty in getting around, she responded to a last-minute plea for help at the Apple Pie booth. Heaven will be graced with her presence. One of the many friends I miss since moving from Woodbridge was Jean. I enjoyed our many times together at Elder’s Mills WI meetings, our friendly chats, and of course, the many chuckles we shared. She would always take the time to share a comment or two, after we moved, when she would come with her friends to our church suppers in the Bond Head area. I know you have many fond memories of your mother that you will always treasure . My condolences.

Your mother leaves a rich legacy. She was truly a wonderful lady and will be missed so much by all those who knew her. We will certainly miss seeing her driving up the street, always waving and smiling as she went on her way. May cherished memories give you comfort at this time.
