Peacefully at Hawthorn Woods Care Community, on Thursday, September 10, 2015, Bill Ashley, in his 80th year, beloved husband of the late Jean Snell-Ashley (nee Westbrook). Loving father of Donna and her husband Kevin Newcombe, Clifford and his wife Yvonne Ashley, Hilda and her husband Michael Shannon, Dianne and her husband the late Larry Woods, Ralph and his wife Cathy Snell, Glen and his wife Christine Snell. Cherished and proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren who he loved and adored. Predeceased by his parents Eletta and Clifford Ashley. Dear brother of June and the late Charlie Carrick, Shirley and the late Mervin Pyke.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Monday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, September 15 at 11 o’clock.
Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton.
