Sorry to hear of Al passing. He was always a great person in camp, loved to cook and always the first one to offer help when needed.
We had many good times together over many years.
I know he had his problems the past few years and hope the family got to spend loving time together with him in this time.

Aunt Janis, Sylvia & Michelle,
So sorry for your loss. I too have wonderful memories of Uncle Al, seeing him in his “mancave” on Almayo, introducing him to Tyler for the first time and puttering around the yard. Some of my fondest childhood memories include coming over to visit & being greeted with “oh no it’s that Gelfand kid again” ! Wonderful memories that will always stay with me. May he rest in peace xoxo

My deepest condolences . With the loss of Al, I have lost a great friend. We have had many adventures over the years in the outdoors. Many hunting and fishing trips. Al was always great company and always had a special smile.
We often saw his smile but it was never larger than when he beat you at a game of euchre and was able to claim one of your quarters. We talked often and debated many issues of the day. He will remain in our memories for years to come.

My sincere condolences Jan & Family.

Dear Jan;
I was so sorry to read about Alan’s death in the paper. I know that you will miss him so much since he has been a part of your adult life for as long as I have known you and I’m sure long before that.
I am so glad that you retired when you did so that you were able to spend a few years of concentrated time with each other.
Please give my wishes of sympathy to Sylvia and Michelle and their families.
Please call me if you would like to get out of the house and have a cup of tea /or coffee or just a friendly conversation.
Take care and my prayers are with you.
