Suddenly at his home, Caledon East, on Wednesday, February 23, 2011, Gerald A. King, in his 80th year, beloved husband of Norma Atkinson. Loved father of Larry and Barb King; Angela King; Christopher and Christine King; Vicki and Bryan Gilbart. Loving grandfather of Peter, Cheryl and Lisa King; Nicole and Justin King. Dear brother of Ruby and Oliver Nuhn (both deceased); William (deceased) and Elva King; Clare (deceased) and Thelma King; Doreen and Bill Stewart; Doris and Peter Surett (both deceased); Muriel King (deceased); Robert and Linda King. Fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters-in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Peacefully at Simcoe Manor, Beeton, on Friday, February 18, 2011, Ken Beeby, in his 96th year, beloved husband of the late Marjorie Deighton (1999). Loving father of Janet Adamson and Margaret and her husband Ken Andras. Cherished grandfather of Becky Adamson and her partner Mary, Michael Adamson and his partner Nicole, Will Andras and his wife Shannon, Peter Andras and his wife Sarah, Janet and her husband Patrick Thompson. Proud great-papa of Elliott Andras, Nathan Andras, and Grace Thompson. Born in London, England, Ken enjoyed his involvement in the Boy Scouts, church activities and the outdoors. Following his service in the Home Guard in London during World War II, Ken founded The British Electrical Resistor Company and managed it, in Toronto, until the early 1970s. Upon retirement, ‘The Schoolhouse’ in Mono Township became his and Marjorie’s home until 1999. Ken was a man of great integrity, respected and loved by all his family.

Loved mother of the late Wayne McMahon, Palgrave. Cherished grandmother of Lisa Wadden (deceased), Karen McMahon, Krista Nott and fondly remembered by 11 great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her brother Maurice Watson. Evelyn was predeceased by her sisters Phyllis, Lorna, Helen; brothers Merv and Cecil. The family of Gordon (Jim) Taylor, would like to share his passing on Tuesday, February 15, 2011, in his 86th year, beloved husband of Freda Henderson for over 63 years. Devoted father of Gordon and Carmen Taylor, Brenda Wolfowich and Gary Peer. Much loved and respected grandfather of Stacey and Ely Anbar, Christina and Kaitlyn Taylor. He leaves them with wonderful memories and stories of CN Rail, stocks and RRSP’s, buttertarts, and walking to school uphill both ways in winter! He will also be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his brother Norman and Lois Taylor of Palgrave, and is now content and at peace playing euchre with siblings Jeremiah, Elwood, Edith and Stanley. Jim will also be remembered by many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
