It is with great sadness that the family of Herman Ackerman announce his passing on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 in his 81st year, predeceased by his wife Doreen. Dear father of James Richard and Liz; Allan and Gayle; Ruth; and his “other favourite daughter”, Shea Wall of his South Carolina family. Loving grandfather of Brad and Sarah. Dear brother of David and Jerry Ackerman of Fifth Lake.
An avid golfer and fisherman, Hank will be missed by his many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and nephews, along with his great golfing buddies and fellow fishermen.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the nurses and staff in the neurology and palliative wards at Brampton Civic Hospital.

It is with great sadness that Robert, Keith and John announce the passing of their Dad at the young age of 59 years after a year-long courageous battle with cancer. Ron is predeceased by his parents Williamina (Mina) and Albert (Bert) Davidson. Brother of Bert Davidson and Cathy Barkwell. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Peacefully on Wednesday June 16, 2010, with her family by her side. Roma will be sadly missed by her children, Charles (died 2002), Raine, Nicholas, Andrew, Tim and her daughters-in-law Valerie, Laura, Lisa and Jackie, her grandchildren, Jill, Christopher, Emily, Kyla, Iain, Conner, Alaina, Erin, Carter, Daniel and Hannah. Dear sister of Jacqueline Homewood. Predeceased by her parents, Richard and Lilian Burns, and siblings Ian, Jean, Richard and Catherine. Fondly remembered by her many family and friends all over the world. Born in Wimbledon England, on July 19th 1927, and trained as a pearl stringer for the renowned crown jeweller, Garrards of London. Roma immigrated to Canada with her husband and two eldest children in 1957. Many memorable years were spent, first in Toronto and Montreal, where her three youngest children were born and later in Caledon, where she was one of the “Granny’s” of Granny’s County Store. At the age of 70, Roma moved to North Vancouver, British Columbia, where she spent some of her most cherished years, before returning to Erin, Ontario, to be closer to her grandchildren.
