Suddenly at Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital, Windsor, on Sunday, October 19, 2003, Shirley Parliament, Orangeville, in her 79th year, beloved wife of the late John Burns. ᅠLoving mother of Judythe Little and Donald Fraser, Joyce and Doug Morris, Nina Little-Alcorn, Cal and Colette Little, Jo Ann and Doug Bourque and predeceased by her daughters Jan Livingston and Nancy Little and fondly remembered by their father Harold Little. ᅠCherished grandmother of Bruce and Ian Fraser, Nadine Livingston, Ayla and Ariel Alcorn, Cameron and Olivia Little, Dana and Alex Bourque. ᅠDear sister of Irene Elliott. ᅠThe family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home Baxter & Giles Chapel, 273 Broadway, Orangeville (519-941-2630) Friday afternoon 2 -- 4 and evening 7 -- 9 o’clock. ᅠFuneral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday morning, October 25 at 11 o’clock. ᅠFollowing a reception at Tweedsmuir Presbyterian Church, Orangeville, interment will be at Brampton Cemetery. ᅠIf desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. ᅠCondolences for the family may be offered at www.eganfuneralhome.com

At Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, on Thursday, October 2, 2003, Ina Healey, Orangeville, in her 66th year. ᅠPredeceased by her parents, James and Hazel Healey of Owen Sound and brother, Ivor. ᅠSadly missed by her longtime friend, Dolores Haws of Orangeville and her brother and sister-in-law, Eldon (Ed) and Beverly Healey of Ottawa. ᅠAlso missing her are nephews David and Christopher and niece Anne Healey, all of Ottawa. ᅠA secondary school teacher, Ina taught English first in Owen Sound and then in Africa, Uganda and Nigeria for 5 years. ᅠFollowing that, she came to Orangeville briefly before going to Inuvik, N.W.T., for a year but returned to finish her career in Orangeville. ᅠIna will be fondly remembered by her many students and fellow teachers. ᅠA private family funeral service has been arranged. ᅠᅠIn lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice. ᅠFriends are invited to celebrate Ina’s life, with the family, at 199 Broadway Restaurant, Orangeville on Saturday, October 18, 2003 between the hours of 12 noon and 3 o’clock.
